I’m back with a vengeance

Hello friends and colleagues. I just got back from a great trip overseas. (unfortunately i didn’t get to see any libraries but I had fun! )

Now its back to the grind. We are currently on schedule with a collection maintenance project at my college. The two weeks I missed could have been used to make some progress, but all work and no play makes a dull librarian (the kind that go “Shhhh!”)

Some of the titles I have already removed were in the financial section. You would be amazed at how few print materials there are with any kind of currency about personal finance at your local college library. This is definitely an area we could improve upon. I also removed some materials pertaining to outdated technology (office 2001? eww).

The holidays are about to start in full force I’m expecting the monotony of work to be broken up with a few more vacation days before semester’s end. Anyway, this post is just to say I’m back and will have some fun stuff coming up here soon. Stay tuned!
